SWIFT is a cooperative society owned exclusively by its member banks. SWIFT enables Nib Bank’s transactions with correspondent banks to be timely, accurate, efficient, & reliable and almost risk free.

How to use SWIFT

Senders need to provide the following information

  • Full name (including grandfathers name) and address of beneficiary
  • Nearby branch of the beneficiary
  • Account number of the beneficiary (Preferable)
  • City name
  • Swift address (Code) Nib International Bank: NIBIETAA, ETHIOPIA

Receivers need to know the following information:

  • Full name
  • Nearby branch
  • Account number (preferable)
  • Swift address (Code) Nib International Bank: NIBIETAA, ETHIOPIA
  • For cash payment an official identification card shall be presented in order to receive the remittance.
