What should I do if I forget My PIN or My card is take in by the ATM ?

You should contact your branch or any other branch of our bank of E-Bank or the customer support office of E-Banking department through telephone to reset the password and apply for retrieval/issuance of a new card. The same procedure is applicable even if the card is jammed when using it on the other banks’ ATM machine.

Can I use ‘NIB ATM card’ be used in any bank ATMs in the Ethiopia ?

No, NIB card can be used only in any of PSS branded ATM's currently in the ATMs of Awash and United Banks, soon to be joined by Berhan Bank.

Any individual who has an account in any of our branchs is illegible to apply for NIB card. However currently, for the sake of security purpose, corporate account, power of attorney accounts and joint and account could not apply for NIB card.

How should an institute or a person get a loan from NIB Bank ?

By fulfilling the following Documents for all Applicants

Any person can open a saving account with an initial deposit amount that is not less than Birr 10.00 and having valid and renewed ID card and two recent Passport size photographs.

It is non-interest bearing account opened and operated by all customers.It is operated by cheques rather than pass book.

What is a Personal Identification Number (PIN) ?

PIN is the numeric password for use at the ATM. The PIN is separately mailed or handed to the customer by the bank while issuing the card. This PIN has to be reset to a new PIN by the customer. We encourage customers to change their PIN on the first use. The PIN number should not be written the card holder as in such cases the card can be misused if card is lost or stolen.
